We had the stars, you and I

We had the stars, you and I

Since 2003, Park Circus has been passionate about the big screen experience. Over the last few weeks, we've been taking the opportunity to ask ourselves what it is about those darkened, velvet-clad auditoriums that is so magical.

In the coming weeks – as cinemas ebb and flow in their reopening – we will be continuing to celebrate the magic of the big screen experience, taking a closer look at what it means to all of us, as well as taking a deeper dive into our catalogue.

During November, we'll be looking at LOVE within film. Stories such as Ghost, When Harry Met Sally, Call me by your Name and A Matter of Life and Death allow us to fall in love time and time again, without risking our own hearts breaking. Tales that are there for us when we don't believe in love, and there when we do. They show us the exquisitely joyful (and occasionally heartbreaking) details that we wouldn't otherwise experience, giving us a greater understanding of those around us and the challenges they face in their own romantic adventures.

From romcoms, to screwball comedies, to tales from worlds beyond our own, this month we'll be exploring films that show us how to be brave, how to open our hearts and be vulnerable. Love at first sight, tragic love, destructive love, and sentimental love. Friendship, unbearable passion and unexpected connections. I’ll have what she’s having….

Stay tuned for exciting video content, interviews, posters, further dives into the archives, and guest picks from friends from across the industry.
