Since 2003, Park Circus has been passionate about the big screen experience. As a global film distributor and sales agent, we license - in normal times - over 20,000 theatrical screenings per year in 113 countries around the world. From outdoor screenings in remote locations, to retrospectives in major cinematheques; from festival premieres of new titles, to pop-up screenings on city rooftops; we ensure every film finds its audience.
During these heart-breaking times whilst cinemas around the world have closed and audiences have had to stay home, we’ve been giving a vital voice to our exhibitor, studio and festival partners in our Spotlight On... strand, taking some deep dives into our collective archive, sharing video compilations of our favourite Cinemoments, and asking our friends from across the industry to pick their favourites from our 25,000 strong catalogue in our Guest Picks strand.
After a turbulent few weeks, we want to stand firmly alongside our friends from across the exhibition sector to inspire audiences back to the big screen when it is safe to do so.
We want to play our part in sharing the classic stories from cinematic history that will rebuild audience trust in the magic of cinema.
So we are proud to present cinema programmers with a specially curated, highly flexible selection of some of the very best-loved classic films from across the decades, back on the big screen, where they belong.
A selection of proven favourites from across the years to inspire audiences back to cinemas.
- Our primary selection of just over twenty key titles will be supported by artwork, trailers and a package of promotional materials
- Also available will be over two hundred and fifty other titles, allowing a genuinely broad choice of programming options that can be easily cleared for screenings
- The selection of films will be supported by Park Circus and industry-wide marketing and PR campaigns
- All films in the selection will be available on DCP, working alongside studios to offer titles in advance that can be booked readily over a set period of time on terms that will support exhibition, as soon as it is safe for cinemas to re-open.
