One-Eyed Jacks

After a successful bank robbery, a group of outlaws are tracked by Mexican Rurales and are forced to go on the run. Left with only one horse between them, old partners Dad and Rio split up, with Dad sent to fetch fresh mounts and to return and rescue Rio from the law. Seeing an opportunity to save his skin and escape with all of the booty, Dad rides off to safety and uses his new-found wealth to establish himself as the sheriff of a town in California. Rio is left behind, arrested and sentenced to five hard years in prison - a long stretch spent plotting his revenge against the man who betrayed him.
