D.W. Griffith's first sound motion picture - a magical dramatisation of important events in the life of the President from his birth to his untimely death. Griffith proves to be a master of the new sound techniques by using "off-screen" sound effects and voices, moving his camera at will and, when necessary, looping sound during postproduction.
