Hi, Gang!

Bebe, Ben and Vic are commentators on rival radio channels in New York. One day Bebe has the bright idea for her company to adopt a British evacuee. With it all arranged, she plans to broadcast his arrival direct from her apartment but Vic has sabotaged her plans. He has told the authorities that she is an unfit guardian, and has adopted an English boy himself who is believed to be the son of Lord Amersham whose castle has been badly damaged by bombing. Gradually all three broadcasters are forced to realise that this young boy is actually from a local pub in Amersham, and is not of noble blood at all.
