BACKGROUND

Park Circus is the leading international distributor of classic and back catalogue films for theatrical exhibition.

The company currently represents over 10,000 titles from several high profile studio and independent clients and issues over 15,000 theatrical screening licenses annually, enabling audiences to once again experience classic and repertory programming on the big screen.

The company was founded in 2003.

WHAT WE DO

Park Circus aims to make it simple for rights owners to offer their back catalogues theatrically, whilst, at the same time make it easy for exhibitors to book films for screenings. This is done through a number of different ways:

REPERTORY BOOKINGS

Park Circus promotes available titles and ensures exhibitors are aware of what is accessible. This website has a fully searchable database and we communicate regularly, through email and in person, suggesting innovative programming ideas, such as thematic seasons. Exhibitors can join this mailing list via the 'Contact' page.

FESTIVALS

Park Circus works closely with a number of key festivals, both in the UK and internationally, to ensure films receive the festival exposure they deserve, including premiering new restorations.

RE-ISSUES

Each year, Park Circus re-issues a number of titles from the libraries, making new prints and publicity materials available, ensuring that the collections continually remain fresh and of interest to exhibitors. These re-issues are usually supported by full press and media campaigns. 

WHERE WE ARE NOW

Over the past seven years, Park Circus has become the leading name in the distribution of classic films, both in the UK and internationally. The company takes pride in the libraries represented and makes significant investment to ensure audiences can once again experience classic films on the big screen.

For the future, our aim is to expand by doing more of the same, as we actively seek new libraries, territories and key individual film titles to work with.
